A Guide to Pawed

Pawed is a place where our pets and their humans, feel part of a community and make it a better place. Pawed is where pet finders are the Heros and get to adopt a pet. We not only help in the adoption process but also help raise your pet with the best advisers, service providers and pet suppliers. This is your one- stop shop for anything you need for your lovely pet, who means the world to us, because you are our Hero!

Signup of Pawed by downloading our application from App Store and Google Play Store, or visit pawed.me . Pawed showcases pets that are available for adoption. Some of the pets, we hope will touch your heart. Reach out to the rescue organisations through our messaging service inside the application and let them know you are interested. The organisations will reach out to you with their adoption procedure to evaluate your match and proceed with adoption. Once they complete their procedure and you get your pet, you then become a Pet Owner on Pawed. Go to your profile, change your status from Pet Finder to Pet owner and become a part of our community to support in raising your pet. Get access to our lovely experts, pet service providers and pet suppliers.

Pawed is available for free in the App Store and Google Play Store, or visit pawed.me to use Pawed for Web.

Once you open the Pawed App on your phone, you can register with Facebook, Google and your Email address.

To register with Facebook:

  1. Download the Pawed app for iOS and Android, or visit Pawed.me
  2. Tap Log in with Facebook
  3. If prompted, sign in to your Facebook account (Pawed does not post anything to Facebook)
  4. Fill out your profile info
  5. Allow Pawed access to all required permissions
  6. Submit

To register with your email address:

  1. Download the Pawed app for iOS and Android, or visit Pawed.me
  2. Tap Log in with Email Address and follow the instructions on the screen
  3. Fill out your profile info
  4. Allow Pawed access to all required permissions

To register with Google:

  1. Download the Pawed app for iOS and Android, or visit Pawed.me
  2. Tap Log in with Google
  3. Select the Google account you want to use
  4. If the account you want to use isn't listed, tap Use Another Account and sign in
  5. Fill out your profile info
  6. Allow Pawed access to all required permissions
  7. Submit

To edit your profile info, tap the profile icon on the top left corner and Edit Profile.

Scroll through all the pets on Pawed. If you want to reach out to the owner or the rescue organisation, click on the message button. Pawed will send a preselected message. Once the receipient accepts the message, you can communicate on the "My Messages" section it the application.

Troubleshooting

I'm getting an error message

  • Check your internet connection: Try switching between Wifi and mobile data to see if you can login into the application.
  • Delete and reinstall the app: Your Pawed application will be refreshed and you will also get the latest version.

To update your phone number in Pawed, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Pawed app
  2. Tap the profile icon
  3. Scroll to Account Settings
  4. Tap Phone Number > Update My Phone Number
  5. Enter your new phone number and save

Safety, Security and Privacy

Safety is a top priority and we encourage you to immediately report any behaviour that violates our policies or Community Guidelines. To send a report via email, please Get in touch here and include the following info:

If someone's created a Pawed profile or added your pet, using your photos or other personal information, please write to us and include the following information:

If you're close to this person or know a pet, please contact them and have them report it to us directly. It would help if they could include the following info in their report:

  • If the person or a pet, you know is someone that you're authorized to represent (i.e. your child, client, etc.),

please contact us and include the information listed above.

If your security concern is specific to your own Pawed account (e.g. you believe your account's been compromised), please Contact Us here at any time.

If you notice suspicious activity on your account, such as messages you didn't send or photos you haven't uploaded, there are some things you can do to ensure your account is secure. Facebook login If you think someone has gained unauthorized access to your Facebook account, visit Facebook's Help Center for immediate and direct support. Phone number login.
